As a Commercial Broker/Account Handler, you need stability and a sense you will be able to control the pace of your own career progression within your current Insurance Broker.
This doesn't necessarily mean moving into a sales / account executive role, it could be progressing into management or technical position.
You're willing to put in the hard-work to get to where you want to be but no matter how hard you try to impress your Line Manager/Director, there's just no opportunity to progress.

We are partnered with an independently owned, Insurance Broker in South Leeds (Morley) as they are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join the team.
This isn't a box ticking exercise for them, they are looking for an individual who takes their career seriously and would be interested in joining a business who are experiencing rapid growth….. not by continuous acquisition, but by healthy organic growth and recruitment. This business is only successful due to the people they have within it.
You'll be working closely with a team of Client Service Directors who have a wealth of experience within the commercial insurance market place.
The 3 Director's who run this business are extremely passionate in innovation and building an asset within the UK Insurance market place.
As an integral part of the business, you will develop and maintain professional working relationships with all clients and look to provide expect product advice and guidance.
Utilising your strong commercial background, you'll ensure the smooth running of a commercial portfolio on a daily basis - Clients will be a complete mixed bag, no 2 days will be the same. Premiums generally from a few thousand up to £100,000+
As this business are on track to achieve their 3 - 5 year growth plan, this means senior management opportunities are likely in the pipeline.
This means, the opportunity may progress into a larger role in future
For the chosen candidate, you will be offered a basic salary up to £42,000 benefits package. Free on-site parking available plus lots of local shops/amenities for the drive back home!

To be considered, what experience do you need?
You'll be an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker / Account Handler with an interest in joining a rapidly expanding Independent Broker
You'll be passionate in providing exceptional client service and will have a track record of achieving a strong client retention rate.
You'll ideally be at least Cert CII qualified and studying towards your DIP/ACII would be encouraged but won't be essential.
Unfortunately if you do not have a Commercial Broking background, you will not be considered for this role.
