Key responsibilities:

  • Client management: build and maintain strong relationships with commercial insurance clients, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored solutions. Conduct regular reviews to ensure client satisfaction and adjust strategies as needed
  • Team leadership: lead, mentor and motivate a dedicated team of Brokers and support staff. Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and high performance
  • Operational excellence: oversee daily office functions, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with industry standards. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity
  • Strategic growth: identify opportunities for portfolio expansion by analysing market trends and client needs. Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance client retention and attract new business
  • Risk assessment: collaborate with clients to assess their risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Stay updated on industry developments to provide informed advice
  • Financial management: monitor and manage the financial performance of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting. Ensure profitability targets are met and maintained
  • Training and development: organise training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of team members. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
  • Compliance and regulation: ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Stay informed about changes in legislation that may impact clients and the business
  • Client presentations: prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing the value of our services and solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients and key accounts
