This UK-Top 100 commercial law firm seek to recruit a Children Health and Social Care Solicitor to join their team in Birmingham.

Firm/ Team

• The Health and Care Regulatory team provides advice and support to health, social care, education and housing organisations across the public and independent sector
• The team consists of 38 colleagues operating out of four offices

Caseload

• The role will involve advising clients on a range of child health, social care and education issues, both contentious and non-contentious. This will include a mixed caseload of: Special Educational Needs and Disability work; deprivation of liberty, as well as advising around parental responsibility, consent, treatment, safeguarding and child protection matters

Candidate Profile

• NQ-5PQE
• Experienced in managing a varied caseload of both advisory and contentious matters in children's, health, education and social care law
• Advocacy in the First Tier Tribunal and other courts (in appropriate cases) would be desirable

Salary

• £55,000 to £62,000
• Flexible working patterns
