Commercial Underwriter
Job description
Are you a Commercial Underwriter who is only seeing new business underwriting opportunities in the market?
This isn't you, I get it, you enjoy underwriting the existing business cases.
Well, I may just have the role for you...
Working as part of a successful existing business unit, you'll be joining a team who have some of the best regarded technical underwriters in the market meaning you'll be learning every day here.
What's more, this insurer has internal links to global work via their corporate and London market division which will give you exposure to some very large and complex case work.
You'll be underwriting existing business within the property and casualty space, working closely with a broker panel of both national and independent firms across the Midlands and handling mainly mid-market business.
Having recently completed their review on flexible working, the firm can offer a blended approach with 2 days per week office based and 3 days home based.
Benefits include up to 12% employer pension, health and wellbeing support and annual bonus scheme.
So if you are a Commercial Underwriter with 18 months or more experience and looking to get your teeth into some technically challenging work with scope to get involved in all sorts of projects then this should tick a lot of your boxes.
