About the firm: A Chartered Financial Planning firm that established themselves in 2004, and pride themselves on high quality and bespoke service to clients are looking to grow their business.
With clear and are looking growth plans they are looking to make high quality senior appointments, one of these being a COO - Head of Operations.
Today the firm manages over £400 million of just 100 families! With visions of taking this firm to manage £3 Billion in the next 7 years, this is very exciting opportunity not to be missed for someone who is passionate about the financial planning profession, growth, driving business through technology and high quality bespoke services to the clients.
Key Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, optimising efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Implement and manage operational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance overall organisational performance.
- Financial Management:
- Work closely with the CFO to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
- Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to achieve financial goals.
- Risk & Compliance Management:
- Assess and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard the company's assets and reputation.
- Approving and confirming compliance of financial promotions
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide strong leadership to the operational teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify talent gaps, recruit top-tier talent, and develop team members through coaching and professional development initiatives.
- Client Experience Enhancement:
- Collaborate with client services teams to enhance the overall client experience, ensuring delivery of exceptional financial advice and services.
- Implement processes to gather client feedback and drive continuous improvement in service quality.
- Technology Integration:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to integrate advanced technologies into the firm's operations.
Qualifications:
- Financial Planning qualifications - Ideally level 4 qualified.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a financial services or advisory firm.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial management, and operational optimisation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive change and innovation within the organisation.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies and a forward-thinking approach to their integration.
