IDEX are representing an international law firm who is seeking a skilled and motivated Knowledge Lawyer to support their Corporate Practice Group, with a particular focus on listed public company advisory work and broader corporate finance practice.
This pivotal role involves driving innovation, delivering first-class legal knowledge, and enhancing our ability to provide consistent, cost-effective, and high-quality advice to our clients. Your Responsibilities
As a Knowledge Lawyer, you will:

  • Enhance Expertise: Develop, update, and manage legal precedents and resources, ensuring they reflect current best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Provide Insight: Deliver regular updates on industry trends, legal developments, and commercial insights to strengthen our advisory capabilities.
  • Client Support: Collaborate on client-facing initiatives, including seminars, alerts, and bespoke training.
  • Training Delivery: Plan and execute impactful training programs for lawyers, leveraging Firm resources and innovative technologies.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Build and maintain the Group's know-how repository, identifying gaps and creating new resources to fill them.
  • Foster Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships across the Firm, promoting a knowledge-sharing culture and supporting professional development.


What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Law degree with a current license to practice (or eligibility).
    • Substantial experience in a London-based Corporate practice.
    • Deep expertise in corporate finance law, particularly regarding listed companies (e.g., Listing Rules, Prospectus Regulation, DTRs).
    • Knowledge of equity capital markets and private M&A is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in legal tech and document automation tools.
    • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Collaborative mindset, integrity, and a passion for knowledge sharing.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
