Job description
As a Marine Insurance Broker providing solutions to your clients, you leave no stone unturned. You enjoy the complexities of a typical marine insurance risk, but you thrive working within a varied role where no two days feel the team.
An opportunity to test your knowledge and have the opportunity to manage a book of business encompassing Marine Hull, MEL, P&I, USL&H, Marine Liability, Cargo/Stock Through-Put and Vessel Pollution
The variety is what you find a challenge and due the your knowledge versatility within the marine insurance market, you have often been the 'go to' person within your previous businesses for technical advice.
If this sounds like you, this could be very well fitting role to consider.
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a highly rated Global Insurance brand as a Marine Account Executive. You can be based anywhere across the East Coast, including New York, Boston or Charlotte regions.
As an integral part of this team, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Enhance relationships with existing clients and key US and London Marine Markets by executing proactive, creative and on-going contact initiatives.
- You'll provide superb planning and consulting advice to clients including the production of requests for proposal, analysis and comparison of RFP responses.
- As a Technical Account Manager, you'll over-see issue-resolution between client and vendor to ensure a smooth process is followed. You can even get involved in some cross-selling/up-selling opportunities if this is an area of interest
For your hard work and dedication, you'll be rewarded with a base salary between $110k - $150k depending upon experience, which comes with comprehensive benefits package including flexible home working.
To be considered you'll hold a number of years' experience within the ocean marine insurance market, either as a Broker, Vice President or Underwriter.
Should you have a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management or related field that would be an added bonus
This is a superb opportunity for an individual who would like to join a highly specialist marine team with expertise both in the US but also internationally, with strong links to the Lloyds market.
