IDEX are supporting this large regional broking firm with the appointment of a New Business Broker to their busy broking unit.

Working from the Central Scotland-based offices, you'll play a crucial role in placement commercial lines business into the market, utilising your keen eye for detail and ability to negotiate effectively with underwriters.

You'll be working across the full suite of commercial lines business with some exposure to agricultural risks also, dealing mainly with clients requiring more nuanced market negotiations.

This is a sales focused role so ideally you'll have a flair for negotiation, experience in commercial insurance and a natural ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders both within and outside of the business.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a mix of office and home-based working.

Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience.
