An opportunity has become available with a Financial Planning firm in Exeter for an Operations Manager

This role would be suited an individual with a background in Financial Planning or Banking and have worked as a Senior IFA Admin/ Paraplanner/ Office Manager/Practise Manager and ideally have previous experience of supporting, supervising or mentoring experience of other members of the team!

You will be working closely with the financial planning manager of the office, ensuring the team are producing high quality support to their financial advisers but also ensuring the client journey is an excellent experience.

It will be your responsibility to work with the client services team which compromises of 4 Paraplanners and 2 admins, organising process, hosting team meetings, 1-2-1's, appraisals and further training and development sessions.

You'll also work collaboratively with other Regional Team Leaders including providing oversight of new business processing, implementation and planned review activity within the required regulatory time scales to mitigate risk of disengagements and remediation.

You'll have to identify where the team needs development and implement plans to improve performance, this will be more apparent when you observe pod meetings with the wider team including the Client Support, Planners and Paraplanners. In addition, you will also provide feedback/input for staff performance appraisals.
