Job description

Our client, an established Accountancy and Advisory business are continuing to grow and require a Diploma qualified Paraplanner to join their Newcastle offices.

Joining a busy office consisting of 7 further Paraplanners and 15 further support/administrative team members, this role offers the successful individual to seamlessly integrate in to a business that has a strong onboarding process to aid a smooth transition into the team.

Supporting c.25 Advisors across the North of England, the business pro-actively encourages progression with a number of Advisors in the business achieving promotions from the Paraplanning team over the years.

Largely through acquisition, the business has also demonstrated FUM and headcount growth in recent years which gives aspirational team members wider exposure and development within their own careers,

Depending on your own career path and opportunity internally, progression into Advising can be anywhere between 6-24 months, should you wish to pursue this path.

Typical duties include.

  • To provide technical and research support to the planners
  • To assist the support team and compliance department when required
  • Prepare suitability and review reports
  • Prepare summary of recommendations for the processing team
  • Question the planner's recommendations if applicable

The successful individual will ideally have achieved their CII Level 4 Diploma (or be nearing completion). Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that recent Paraplanning experience is demonstrated within your work experience.
