The Opportunity
A leading international law firm is seeking a bright and ambitious Construction Projects Lawyer to join its top-tier Transactional Construction & Engineering team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the largest and most high-profile construction and infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally.
The Role
You'll be advising major clients across the real estate, energy, and infrastructure sectors on high-value, complex construction projects. The team's portfolio includes multi-billion-pound developments such as new nuclear power stations, iconic hotels and resorts, major rail infrastructure, and transformative regeneration schemes.
You will work closely with recognised leaders in the field and benefit from a team environment that combines national reach with local presence and support.
Typical Work Includes:
- Drafting and negotiating construction and engineering contracts
- Advising developers, funders, contractors and consultants on complex infrastructure and real estate development projects
- Supporting major regeneration, transport, and energy projects (UK and international)
- Collaborating with cross-functional legal teams on multi-disciplinary matters
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ-3 PQE)
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or projects (transactional focus) - training seats considered
- Strong commercial awareness and client-centric approach
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills
- A team player who is eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
