Richard has over 23 years’ experience within the recruitment & Business Consultancy sector. Having operated as a Successful Consultant for the General Insurance market, dealing with projects up to Board Director level, he built up a solid reputation for providing a bespoke service, always taking pride in providing an open and honest consultancy service to his clients & candidates.

Richard is responsible for the leading the Corporate Services function within IDEX, incorporating a number of key operations functions including , Continuous Improvement, Business Support, Legal, HR, Data and supplier relationships. He is passionate about joining together the Sales and Operations sides of the business to create streamlined, efficient business processes that maximise the IDEX service offering to our partner clients & candidates. He is particularly passionate about using data & analysis to identify & action areas where IDEX can make marginal gains & improvements to support the growth of the business and solidify our position as the Partner of choice, while ensuring that IDEX continues to provide industry leading service and market insight to professionals & organisations within the Insurance, Financial Services and Legal sectors.

Richard is also an active member of the Birmingham Insurance Institute, and served as Head of the Professional Development & Education Committee between 2018 and 2022.

Outside of the office, Richard can often be found in the countryside - shooting, hiking or cycling. He is a devoted petrolhead, a lifelong skier and a recent convert to motorcycling, but it is definately not a "mid-life crisis" thing!
