Global Captives Leader
Job description
We are seeking an experienced Director to serve as Global Captives Leader. With responsibility for the management of 2 multi-territory captives, you will oversee all aspects of the captive operations for the client. This is a unique opportunity for candidates that are looking to grow professionally, expand their business knowledge of risk management and captive insurance programs and collaborate with professionals across a diverse spectrum. As the Global Captives Leader, you will lead the client service teams in Singapore and in the United States and regularly interact with leaders within the client's risk management team.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from an office in the United States.
What the day will look like
- Responsible for the overall servicing of the two captive programs for the client
- Leading all aspects of the insurance, finance, and governance requirements for the two captives
- Work closely with client's accounting, tax, legal and risk management departments
- Mentor and develop client service team members
- Strategize with client on how best to optimize their captive insurance companies
- Prepare and present insights during the captive board meetings
- Coordinate efforts with outside service providers, including actuaries, auditors, brokers, claims adjusters and outside counsel to proactively meet client requirements
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Strong leadership skills and proven track record in similar roles
- extensive experience in senior roles, preferably within captive Insurance management
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead projects and motivate teams to execute on strategies
- Resiliency and creativity
- At ease working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong presentations and soft skills
- Critical thinking abilities
