Job description
Utilize your marine cargo broking expertise, within a highly rated specialty broking business in the US. A firm with the tech/innovation to own strong global capability, but still very much operate as a 'traditional' insurance broker in today's insurance market.
As a key part of the marine team, you will handle existing marine business, build relationships with clients, carrying out renewals and general administration. There would be an opportunity to get involved in production should this be an interest of yours, but isn't a pre-requisite.
This business have a track record of promoting individuals to VP, SVP and 'head of' positions within their marine teams, so would suit an individual with natural ambition and entrepreneurial spirit.
Our client has a strong preference to find someone based from New York / New Jersey / East Coast, but are able to consider remote individuals.
You will possess strong marine cargo expertise, preferably within a broking house. You'll either have a background exclusively been involved in marine business, or have serviced a varied book but in fact have an interest in specializing.
