A Global Insurer is seeking an Underwriter to join their well-established London Market Professional Indemnity division, to focus on corporate international insurance business.
The PI Underwriter will underwrite large corporate global business, including US and UK risks. Construction business forms a significant portion of the portfolio, alongside Architects & Engineers, Accountants, Surveyors, Insurance Brokers, Lawyers and Miscellaneous business. The successful individual will be expected to form relationships with and work closely with brokers, clients and reinsurers, in order to maximise profitable business. Analysis of the portfolio to identify new business opportunities and representing the company at events is also part of the role.
London Market Professional Indemnity experience is essential for this role and exposure to large-ticket corporate business is highly desired. This role would be ideally suited to an Assistant Underwriter who is ready to take that next step to Underwriter level. Get in touch to discuss further.
