Associate/Senior Associate - Professional Disputes
Job description
This leading Band 1 team are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Professional Disputes team. A consistent and growing client base has led to an opportunity to join this market leading team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years PQE but individuals out with will be considered. Experience in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session is essential.
What you will do:
- Defend a wide range of insurers and professionals in all aspects of professional liability claims.
- Provide dispute resolution support through mediation, arbitration and litigation.
- Represent professionals before public inquiries.
- Run a case load of high value and complex cases.
- Act on behalf of a broad range of clients including brokers, accountants, and financial services professionals with a particular focus on construction professionals.
