Banking and Finance Senior/Managing Associate

An established and forward-thinking law firm in the South West is looking to hire an experienced Banking & Finance Solicitor to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and commercially-minded individual with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience to take the next step in their career within a firm known for its collaborative culture and regional influence.

The Role


You will play a key role in advising a diverse client base, including major banks, financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and alternative lenders, on a broad spectrum of banking and finance matters. Work will include:

  • Bilateral and syndicated lending
  • Real estate finance
  • Acquisition and leveraged finance
  • Development and project finance
  • Corporate refinancing and restructuring
  • General lending transactions


There will be opportunities to work on high-value, complex transactions with a strong regional and national client base, as well as to contribute to the ongoing development of the team.

About You


You will be a UK-qualified solicitor with:

  • 5+ years PQE in banking and finance (experience in a regional, national, or City firm welcome)
  • A strong technical grounding across a range of finance matters
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to business development and client relationships
  • A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to lead and mentor junior colleagues


You'll be given the autonomy to manage your own caseload while also contributing to high-profile team projects, all within a flexible working environment that encourages work-life balance.
