Business Development Manager - International Law Firm

Job description

IDEX are representing an international law firm who are looking to hire an experienced business development manager to provide BD support to their corporate practice group.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the legal sector and have relationships within the corporate space which could include private equity firms, investment banks, real estate and other industries/sectors.
Main duties:

  • Assist the partnership in their BD and marketing activities including supporting individual partners or group activities e.g. sector or practice initiatives, events and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the wider BD department in the United States to access appropriate support, best practice and knowledge.
  • Support with the creation and implementation of business development and marketing initiatives.


Key skills and experience:

  • Successful track record or business development within the legal sector.
  • Experience of driving, managing and evaluating key BD campaigns.
  • Experience of successfully dealing with and influencing senior people, particularly partners.
  • Ability to deal directly with clients or client representatives.
