Job description
IDEX Consulting have been retained to recruit a Claims Handler/Senior Claims Handler to join a fast-growing MGA based in Nottinghamshire. If you are a lover of boats and/or Sailing, this role may be even more appealing to you!
In a nutshell, the role will involve handling claims from start to finish whilst ensuring your customers feel comfortable and are kept up to date during the whole process. The company has built their own claims system, and you will be dealing with claims inhouse as the company have various binder agreements in place.
You will be dealing with a range of personal and High net worth professionals who own a Pleasure craft - This could be Superyachts and Sailboats through to smaller marine craft such as Dinghy and Jet Ski's…..No 2 days will be the same which will give you the opportunity to think on your feet and be proactive to ensure the right outcome is achieved for your customers.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has handled claims from cradle to grave, whether that is commercial or personal lines claims…. Candidates from a claims broking/loss adjusting background will also be considered.
An attractive salary/benefits package is on offer and will largely be dependent upon the experience of the successful individual.
