The Role: Commercial Claims Handler

This is a full end-to-end claims handling role, including settlement negotiation. You'll have the chance to:

Manage a portfolio of commercial claims cases from notification to resolution.

Engage with clients to provide updates, guidance, and support throughout the claims process.

Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth claims handling.

Handle complex claims, including liability and property cases, demonstrating expertise and problem-solving skills.

Provide input during client meetings to strengthen relationships and showcase the firm's commitment to excellent service.

Flexibility and Location:

This role is offered on a hybrid basis.

If you are more experienced, you can choose to work from home up to 4 days per week.

Ideally, you'll be based in the Falkirk/Stirling/Fife, Perth or Glasgow region

What You'll Need:


  • At least 2 years of claims handling experience, ideally with exposure to commercial claim cases across property or liability.
  • Strong understanding of claims protocols, processes, and policy interpretation.
  • A natural ability to work collaboratively with clients and external stakeholders such as adjusters, legal teams, and insurers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering high quality service.
