Consultant
Commercial Client Manager
Job description
This prominent commercial insurance brokerage is one of the best respected broking houses in the UK, holding Chartered status and servicing the SME, private and corporate markets.
They have a network of UK offices, and their employees enjoy a multitude of career paths available given the depth of operations this firm has.
They have been growing year on year, promoting their people through the ranks and developing their clientele consistently.
Here you will enjoy brilliant training, ongoing development and career options well beyond this position on offer.
More about the role
Here you'll be joining the main commercial broking hub within the busy Dumfriesshire operation of this major broker.
Here you will work with larger scale clients, paying premiums of around £10k - £15k generally.
Your remit here will be to play a comprehensive client management role where you'll work with your key panel of accounts, servicing MTAs, renewals and supporting the placement process into the market.
Here you'll be working with the key personnel of a wide range of businesses from construction and engineering to food & drink manufacturers, tech firms and property owners.
This service led role will give you plenty of opportunity to meet with clients on a face to face level alongside the Senior Account Directors which you'll support.
Are you the right fit?
You'll need a background in commercial insurance either in broking, underwriting or claims for this role.
You'll have a curious approach to insurance and be the type of person who enjoys the complexities of larger clients and cases which require more or a creative and tailored approach.
Ideally you will be able to come to the Dumfiesshire offices at least 3 days per week.
What's the application process?
It's very simple and straightforward.
- Just register your interest by applying here or by emailing Stuart McKenna
- IDEX Consulting will then have a quick briefing call with you to clarify the role and give you a detailed understand of it.
- You'll then be invited for a face-to-face meeting in the hiring firm's offices which will include a general skills based chat and competency interview
This is a super opportunity to work in the top employer in the local area within one of the most interesting and technical teams operating there.
