An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Corporate Legal Director to join a leading national law firm in their Leeds office. This role offers am ambitious Corporate Solicitor a genuine track to partnership, providing a clear pathway for progression in a supportive and dynamic environment. This firm is also punching well above its weight in Corporate at the moment, being recognised nationally and with some top quality individuals leading the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and corporate governance matters.
- Provide high-quality, strategic advice to a diverse client base, including private and public companies, entrepreneurs, and investors.
- Drive business development, building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Mentor and manage a team of junior lawyers, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Work closely with colleagues across different practice areas and offices to deliver integrated solutions tailored to clients' needs.
- Play an active role in the continued expansion and success of the corporate team in the Leeds office.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Proven experience in corporate law, with a strong track record of handling complex transactions.
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen in corporate matters.
- Excellent client management, business development, and networking skills.
- Leadership and mentoring experience, with a desire to contribute to the growth of the team.
- A strong ambition to progress to partnership in the futur
