Corporate Insurance Client Director
Job description
The Client Director will establish strong relationships with clients and will position themselves to be a trusted advisor to senior colleagues. In the role, you will act as a client leader across a portfolio of clients with complex risk management requirements. This will include:
- Core to this is a strong understanding of commercial insurance products including Property & Casualty, Professional Indemnity, Cyber and Management Liability insurance.
- Using your technical knowledge, you will shape discussions with clients and provide guidance to the client teams. The role involves thinking strategically about the client base and proactively bringing opportunities/ideas to the leadership team.
- The Client Director role requires you to work to gain a thorough understanding of services and to ensure that the client understands the full value delivered.
- Effective communication is key to the role. The Client Director is expected to give/receive feedback to continually elevate the success of the team and demonstrate an ability to act on feedback to ensure appropriate remediation plans can delivered.
Skills and Experience Required
- Solid Corporate insurance industry knowledge is essential to create the partnership required with clients and client teams;
- Strong knowledge and understanding of professional indemnity insurance (and ideally cyber and management liability insurance);
- Proven experience managing a client team and providing advice and guidance on some of the more complex aspects around the day-to-day management of the client portfolios;
- Ability to identify client needs and clearly articulate the problem to be solved; recognises challenges and barriers to solving them and assembles internal resources to achieve the desired client outcome;
- Accountability for service delivery, ensuring progress for all client workstreams. Builds alignment of internal client teams on related workstreams.
