Are you a technically skilled leader with a passion for analytics and data security? IDEX Consulting are seeking a Team Lead to oversee the technical design and implementation of analytics solutions, ensure team efficiency, and maintain high standards of data security and governance.
Role:
As a Team Lead, you will:
- Technical Design and Implementation: Lead the technical design and implementation of data analytics solutions in line with the Product Roadmap.
- Efficiency: Maximise efficiency and productivity by implementing effective processes and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide regular updates, and gather feedback.
- Quality: Foster a culture of quality within the team, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards.
- Governance: Implement and oversee governance policies to ensure compliance and maintain data integrity.
- Security: Ensure the security of data and analytics solutions, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Team Development and Well-being: Foster a positive team environment, focusing on the development and well-being of team members.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience leading small to medium-sized teams of data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and data reporting specialists.
- Experience in data engineering and wrangling using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL.
- Proficient in building, optimising, deploying, and managing machine learning models using AzureML.
- Skilled in complex relational database query writing, performance tuning, and optimisation using Azure SQL.
- Expertise in data modeling and visualisation of static reports, dynamic/interactive reports, and dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau.
Other Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term quality and value delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical expertise in analytics tools and technologies, such as Python, SQL, and Azure.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and expectation management.
- Value-centric delivery of analytics products using Agile methodologies.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships to maximise collaboration throughout the wider business.
- Experience in implementing data security and governance policies.
