Financial Planning - Complaints Specialist

IDEX Consulting are working in partnership with a leading Financial Planning Group who are in the process of bolstering their compliance team and have numerous newly created opportunities within the division.

Due to the nature of the role, the business require somebody with recent and relevant experience in a complaints/remediation role within a Financial Advisory business.

Duties include;

  • Log and investigate all complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction where they relate to financial advice given by Financial Planners within a timely manner
  • Adhere to both internal service level agreements and regulatory timescales.
  • Log and deal with the administrative aspects of remediation's and past business reviews.
  • Investigate complaints and remediation cases including liaising with all stakeholders, financial advisers, the Financial Ombudsman Service and other third parties.
  • Understand and be familiar with risk & control self-assessments, completing these as necessary.


As a newly created opportunity, this gives the successful candidate the opportunity to be help shape the policy and procedures within the division, working closely with senior management.
