Global Head of Broker Proposition

Job description

Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development and Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for driving market insights strategy to capture and benchmark qualitative and quantitative broker data, insights and feedback as well as developing Commercial & Specialty businesses in Asia regions. The overall primary objective is to measure broker experience and market engagement activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of the partner insight programme to measure success of strategy in markets and understand partner experience.
  • Work with regional teams across LATAM, London & MENA, Europe, APAC to develop the right question set and mechanisms.
  • Establish the right tools and techniques for global application.
  • Work externally with our partners to drive target response rates and uptake.
  • Triangulate findings with other key areas of market insight (e.g. Broker Opinion Surveys, Market Research).
  • With Global Business Development and Market Management, lead regional executive and overall, advise executive engagement on findings, agreeing implications and proposed actions, primarily aligned to the measurements of strategic imperatives.
  • Champion insights and embed findings across all parts of the company, helping drive change in behaviours and processes to improve experience and insights to target partners and maintain market leading status.
  • Contribute best practice to the wider company.


Delivery:

  • Establish and strengthen relationships with brokers, business partners and colleagues, to maximise influence and achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in a supporting role during broker meetings and discussions, on occasion formally presenting to brokers and owning follow up actions.
  • Work closely with marketing to reflect insights into campaigns and overall brand proposition.
  • Work with brokers to understand forthcoming initiatives on data and insights.
  • Support key internal stakeholders to define and deliver value-add improvements across the business.
  • Demonstrate understanding and awareness of global market dynamics and market cycles to drive and enhance business performance.


Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of leading on proposition strategic development within the general insurance market, insurer or broker.
  • Strong commercial background and experience of building investment cases that drive optimum business and customer outcomes.
  • Highly developed and effective communications skills with competency at presenting strategic proposals from Executive level down.
  • Strong skills in building trusting and productive relationships within matrix style organisations with the demonstrable ability to work influentially with senior stakeholders both internal and external
  • Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities
  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to meet challenging deadlines.
