Group Risk Technical Analyst

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Risk Analyst.

Role purpose:

  • Provide day to day administration support and assistance to Group Risk clients
  • Managing the quotation process for Market Reviews and New Business
  • Liaising with the Consultants


Responsibilities:

  • Preparing business reports for Group Risk products, including renewal and new business
  • Effectively managing administration of existing schemes including flexible benefits
  • Sending out renewal invitations and request client data
  • Preparing and comparing client data
  • Effectively managing administration of renewal process
  • Managing quotation process for market reviews and new business prospects
  • Place schemes on risk and ensuring smooth inception
  • Ensuring accuracy of client invoices/accounts/policy documents prior to dispatch
  • Liaising with insurers to resolve claims & membership issues
  • Identify and manage medical underwriting requirements
  • Answering incoming telephone calls/emails and responding to client enquiries
  • Maintaining good working knowledge of Group Risk market & products
  • Attend insurer and client meetings as required
  • Adhering to regulatory requirements at all times
  • Working in accordance with GDPR/Data Protection and adhering to TCF at all times


Key Skills

  • Understanding of Group Risk products - Life, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Death in Service Pension, Flex and Business Protection
  • Client focus and service
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues and key providers
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in principal Microsoft Office applications


Qualifications:

  • GR1 qualified or working towards
