Integration Specialist
Job description
My client is a national financial planning business that helps financial planning firms achieve their business goals and objectives. Due to growth they are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join their technology team in London/South East. This role will focus on supporting and managing the integration and alignment of the partner firms.
This includes definition of the use of various systems, applications, and platforms within the organisation's ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial services, systems and technology. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all improvements and business change is managed closely and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for integration projects across various platforms, systems, and services.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.
- Support with management and delivery of key technology projects using a defined approach and framework
- Support with other business change projects that have a technology or integration impact across the group businesses
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new tools and systems.
- Participate in data migration, system upgrades, and testing new functionality.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve any service issues.
- Create detailed technical documentation and support collateral for operations to support processes and procedures.
- Responsible for an element of data quality, oversight and exception checking for processes and data. To ensure expected standards of data, identifying any potential issues or areas of improvement.
- Assist with the testing of integration components to verify accuracy and data integrity.
- Perform quality assurance checks and validation tests to ensure all integrations are working as intended.
Experience Needed
- Experience in an integration or IT support role, within a an financial planning/wealth management environment
- Hands-on experience with back office configuration, integration platforms, middleware, APIs, and data exchange technologies.
- Familiarity with financial services applications and systems (e.g., back office systems, adviser tools & platforms)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify, define and work out a plan to resolve issues.
- Ability to analyse complex scenarios and propose solutions that meet business requirements.
- Project / change management
- Financial services specific certifications
- Certifications in MS365 (Desirable)
