New Business Director - Real Estate

This leadership role focuses on driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients within the Real Estate sector, aligned with the practice's strategic objectives. Success will be measured by building a strong pipeline and converting prospects into long-term clients, achieving both individual and team targets.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for identifying and engaging top prospects, ensuring both immediate wins and long-term growth.
  • Manage the sales cycle effectively, utilising global resources to maximise opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to drive business development within the real estate sector.
  • Ensure a seamless client journey from prospecting to onboarding, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create consistent messaging and support promotional efforts through materials, events, and thought leadership.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key clients and prospects.
  • Foster innovation and exceptional client experiences by leveraging expertise across various lines of business, specialties, and regions.
  • Contribute to the development of new products tailored to the unique needs of the real estate market.


Your Profile

  • You must have insurance experience, preferably within the real estate sector - either broking or insurer.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of team development and success.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in strategic planning, problem-solving, and budget management.
  • High level of business and financial acumen, with a solid understanding of company strategy and change management.
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving challenging sales targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence within a complex organisational structure.
  • Strong facilitation skills, capable of managing ambiguity and driving consensus through collaborative approaches.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to represent the company effectively and understand the processes that support business operations and strategy.
  • Experience in adhering to systems and processes that ensure high-quality client service delivery.
