Novations Administrator
Job description
My client is a national financial planning business and they are currently looking for an Administrator with novation experience. This is a homebased role and has a salary between £27k and £30k.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of individual agency and novations projects including novation/transfer of agency, agency application and provider access, being accountable for the end-to-end process to deliver good outcomes to the business as well as newly acquired clients/firms.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to manage expectations on the upfront and on-going requirements related to the agency and novations projects. Provide regular up-dates on novation progress and completions.
- Complete thorough validation checks to ensure full completion of projects and mini-mise impact on ongoing fees and servicing.
- Identify provider agency gaps and be accountable for agency applications in line with provider requirements to satisfy existing business need and newly acquired firms joining the Group. Complete applications accurately and timely to ensure disruption to new business submission is minimised.
- Set up and maintenance of provider registrations for existing users, new starters and newly acquired firms joining the Group. Keeping stakeholders updated with clear communications throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate records relating to all areas of responsibility.
- Support the wider Operations Support Team when required and collaborate with the wider team to ensure work is completed to a high standard and in a timely way.
- Provide support to the Central Operations Team as required, dictated by business need.
- Participation in discrete projects to support the business as required.
- Other duties as set by management as and when required.
Experience:
- Experience of bulk novating and transfer of plans is essential.
- Experience of acquisitions is preferred.
- Experience in FCA regulated environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to learn quickly with strong communication skills.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Strong team player and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
