If so, we are representing a leading RWI Insurance broker who are hiring an Operations Analyst to join their team in New York City.
About the Role
As an Operations Analyst, you will support their broking teams and ensure seamless execution of insurance operations throughout the policy lifecycle. You'll coordinate across multiple teams, uphold compliance with regulatory standards, and deliver exceptional service to clients, brokers, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support brokers, operations, finance, legal, and compliance teams during the policy lifecycle.
- Apply knowledge of insurance regulations and products to review and validate policy information.
- Complete carrier and state surplus lines forms, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Proactively follow up with clients and insurers to ensure policy conditions are met and files are complete.
- Review and negotiate client Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and manage the distribution of NDA Joinder Agreements and Non-Reliance Letters (NRLs).
- Maintain data accuracy, perform Quality Assurance checks, and update system entries.
- Conduct KYC checks for prospective clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing client needs and soliciting feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience (insurance, legal or related field experience preferred).
- Experience with NDA's advantageous
- General understanding of insurance and surplus lines rules and requirements (preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook).
