Paraplanner (12 months FTC)
Job description
Purpose
Working closely with 2-3 Advisers within the group supporting them with their workloads and the day to day activities and ongoing support for both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Support Advisers in ensuring the annual ongoing suitability targets are met by setting up meetings, attending meetings and completing the relevant post meeting documentation
- Creating Statements of Suitability for clients post meeting and ensure the annual review process is
- Producing new business reports including ISA/GIA top ups and pension transfers
- Creating ad hoc letters for clients including fund switches and withdrawals
- Support the Advisers with new business processing and onboarding journey on the CRM system
- Maintain compliant advice files in Practice Management System (Xplan)
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in report writing is essential
- Experience in a Financial Services company
- Product knowledge of pensions, bonds and other wrappers
- Experience in the on-boarding journey of a new client
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft office applications specifically Excel
- Good knowledge of operational administration including settlement and transfers
Qualifications:
- CII Level 4 Financial Planning qualification or working towards
This role is based in Edinburgh for a Paraplanner on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract.
