A unique opportunity is available for a Paraplanner to join a long-standing 3rd generation independent advice firm based in Nottingham with an outstanding record of long-term employee retention.

My client is an independent financial advisers offering client-focused services that include investments, pensions and retirement planning, IHT planning and protection.

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner wishing to work in relaxed and supportive environment with client-centric approach.

Career opportunities include continuing as a Paraplanner or transitioning to become a future adviser.

Duties include -

  • Working closely with Financial Adviser supporting cases ahead of client reviews and meetings
  • Provide research for client cases
  • Preparing client paperwork including suitability reports
  • Supporting changes and improvements to the client proposition


The ideal candidate -

  • Experience in a similar role providing Paraplanner support for Advisers / Planners
  • Industry qualifications preferred although not essential with relevant experience
  • Knowledge of advice cases including investments and pensions
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small friendly team
  • A professional and personal approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
