Planning Lawyer (0-10 PQE) - National Law Firm (London)
Job description
National law firm with a strong presence in London is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have between 0-10 years PQE and a passion for planning law.
Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on all aspects of planning law, including development plan applications, appeals, enforcement action, and judicial review
- Drafting planning applications, appeals, and other planning documents
- Negotiating with planning authorities and other stakeholders
- Undertaking legal research and providing written and oral advice to clients
- Representing clients at hearings and inquiries
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in planning law and practice
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Skills and experience:
- A strong academic background in law
- A minimum of 0-10 years PQE in planning law
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a heavy workload
- A keen interest in planning law
