The Opportunity
A well-established and forward-thinking law firm with multiple offices across Cheshire is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience to join their dedicated team. This role offers the chance to work closely with clients, taking ownership of cases with a high level of autonomy while being part of a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of private client matters, including:
- Drafting and advising on wills
- Estate planning and administration
- Trust creation and management
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Tax planning and advice
You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, providing tailored legal advice and guiding them through complex matters. This role offers significant autonomy, allowing you to manage your own caseload while still benefiting from a highly supportive team structure. Depending on your location and preferences, there may also be flexibility in which office you are based.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client law
- Strong technical knowledge in wills, trusts, and probate matters
- A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently and make key decisions with confidence
- A proactive attitude towards business development and networking
- STEP qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential
