Senior Associate / Legal Director - Professional Indemnity
Job description
My global client is seeking a Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join its dynamic and highly regarded team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading law firm that specialises in defending professionals and handling complex claims.
As a key member of this team, you will provide high-quality legal advice to a range of clients, including insurers, solicitors, accountants, architects, and other professionals. You will handle a variety of professional indemnity cases, including high-value and multi-jurisdictional claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of professional indemnity claims, from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Providing expert legal advice to insurers and professional clients.
- Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediation's, and court proceedings.
- Advising on policy coverage and risk management strategies.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and industry developments.
What I am looking for:
- Senior Associate/Legal Director with a strong background in litigation work.
- A strong interest in professional negligence matters.
- Excellent technical legal skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
