Senior Banking Solicitor: 6PQE+

Job description

Our client is a leading UK and International law firm who seek to recruit a Principal Associate to join their banking & finance team, to be based in any of their UK offices: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Norwich, Cambridge or London office.

The client base is varied and consists of clearing banks including NatWest, HSBC and Barclays, debt funds including AgFe, Homes England, international banks including Wells Fargo and asset-based lenders such as PNC Business Credit, HSBC Invoice Finance and Arbuthnot Commercial ABL together with, on the borrower side, AIM listed businesses, technology and life sciences companies, real estate investors and other corporate and institutional clients.

An important growth area for the team will be working with international banks operating out of London (including large US and Chinese banks) and other debt funds.

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum of 6 years PQE gained a reputable firm.


  • Experienced in advising banks, lenders, fund managers and other corporate and institutional clients (both borrowers and lenders) on all aspects of finance and security issues.
  • Sectors covered will include asset-based lending, leveraged finance, corporate lending and borrowing, real estate finance, Government finance and bonds and capital markets.
  • Keen to develop business


Salary/ Package:

- £73,000+ (higher for London)
