Senior Corporate Associate (4-8 PQE)
Job description
A top-tier US law firm renowned for its sophisticated corporate practice is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Associate to join its New York office. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading complex, cross-border transactions and mentoring junior associates in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex M&A, private equity, and strategic investment transactions across a wide range of industries.
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
- Oversee and guide junior lawyers during all stages of the deal lifecycle.
- Provide strategic, commercial legal advice to high-profile domestic and international clients.
- Support partners in business development and client relationship initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- 4-8 years of corporate law experience, ideally gained at a top US or international law firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in private equity, M&A, and/or general corporate advisory.
- Strong academic credentials (JD or equivalent from a top law school).
- Admitted to the New York Bar.
- Proven leadership capabilities, client-facing experience, and a commercial mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
