Senior IFA Administrator

Are you an experienced financial planning administrator looking to take the next step in your career?

We're looking to speak with Financial Planning Administrators to join a growing team which will see you working closely with Independent Financial Advisers and their clients by delivering high levels of quality service through pre and post sales administration.

This is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working (3 days in office 2 from home) offering a competitive salary and a fantastic range of benefits.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior IFA Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and first-class client service by:

  • Providing efficient administrative support to a team of Independent Financial Advisers.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for advisers, clients, providers, and internal teams.
  • Managing client data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Preparing reports, letters, and correspondence in line with company guidelines.
  • Organising new business and review packs for adviser meetings.
  • Obtaining valuations and research on financial products such as protection, annuities, and mortgages.
  • Processing fund switches, payment requests, and surrenders, ensuring compliance.
  • Keeping on top of diary management to support advisers' daily workflows.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

The ideal background and experience:

  • Experience in financial services administration, ideally supporting financial advisers.
  • A keen eye for detail, with strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude, with great communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
