Consultant
Broking Supervisor
Job description
This major insurance group is well known for their service led delivery to clients and ethical approach.
After some internal realigning, they have created a brand-new position for a Broking Supervisor to join the busy Edinburgh team.
You'll have a platform here to carve this role out how you want it as you wont be coming in here to fill anyone's shoes.
So day to day you'll still have involvement with clients in a service capacity but your key focus will be looking after a small team of Account Handlers.
Day to day you'll be allocating work, reporting on MI, managing complex referrals, coaching, rolling out training and acting as a mentor to the team members who are progressing themselves.
The team operate in the private client sector and manage clientele across HNW property, motor, travel and specialist areas such as fine art, wine and antiquities.
You'll work with some of the key clients and report into the Head of Private Clients who has the overarching remit for divisional strategy, operations and sales.
This is a lovely opportunity for you to apply your talents in supervisory work within a well-established team who are all experienced insurance professionals.
Ideally, you'll have a background in insurance as a Senior Handler, Supervisor or Team Lead and if you have any experience in HNW/private clients or property insurance then that's a big help.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days office time per week and 2 from home.
Salary is up to £45,000 plus benefits package.
And don't worry if your CV isn't up to date, you can apply with what you have now and IDEX can help you update it.
