Business Development Manager - National Coverage

Job description

A leading Financial Planning Group who are experiencing exceptional growth are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

You will be expected to manage existing, and generate new introducer relationships to feed new business into both the Corporate and Private client divisions, focusing primarily on new corporate client acquisition.

This is a newly created role and will be the lead BDM within the Financial Planning division, offering an exciting opportunity for the right person to shape the role and steer the direction of the department as it inevitably grows further,

The role will require the successful applicant to have a strong network across the professional introducer market (Accountants, Solicitors, Lawyers etc) whilst having a pro-active mindset of continuing to build and grow these relationships further.

Financial Advisory qualifications are beneficial, but not essential.

This is a national role, so we are open to locations such as London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bristol and Newcastle.

Specific responsibilities include;

  • Drive sales across the entire revenue spectrum including all service and product areas.
  • Project manage and deliver business development campaigns in coordination with marketing and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver personal revenue according to budget plan
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Increase the breadth of support and advice provided to existing clients by maximising cross referrals within the group.
