We are excited to be working with a top national firm in Birmingham looking to recruit a commercial disputes solicitor, with experience in contentious procurement matters, to join a highly regarded commercial disputes team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a a reputable Partner who is an expert in commercial litigation matters, specialising in acting for both public and private sector clients advising on procurement disputes. This team is full of many Partners who are recognised as Leading Individual in the Legal 500.

You'll work on high value complex commercial litigation matters, which include most specialist public procurement disputes including breach of transparency and equal treatment obligations, manifest error, unlawful exclusive of bidders, unlawful abandonment and conflicts of interest. Clients will include central and local government, national agencies, NHS bodies and charities as well as suppliers to the public sector and utilities from SMEs to PLCs.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be over 4 years PQE with experience in high value complex commercial disputes
  • Ideally have some experience of procurement disputes or advisory work
  • Be experienced in business development and building relationships
