Are you a skilled Property & Casualty (P&C) Underwriter ready for a fresh challenge? The Role:
As a Commercial Property Underwriter, you'll be responsible for:
- Underwriting a wide range of commercial property risks, ensuring each policy is accurately priced and risk-managed.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers to ensure that both new and existing clients are consistently well-served.
- Working with key stakeholders to assess risks, negotiate terms, and ensure all underwriting decisions align with company guidelines and industry standards.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and helping to drive the continued growth of the commercial property portfolio.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal processes, regulatory requirements, and best practice standards.
What We're Looking For:
- A strong P&C underwriting background or Mono lined Commercial Property background
- Ability to analyse and assess complex risks, with a keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of underwriting principles.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships with brokers and clients alike.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, with a drive to succeed both individually and as part of a larger team.
- Knowledge of the UK market and an understanding of the unique needs of brokers outside of London is highly desirable.
