Leading independent firm is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to lead their successful Birmingham team.

Dur to succession planning, the firm is keen to appoint an experienced planning lawyer to lead the planning function. Working in close partnership with commercial property and construction teams, the inflow of planning work is increasing and the firm already acts for a range of clients including developers, investors, retail and leisure operators, public bodies, housing associations and institutional lenders.

In this key role, you will take ownership of a range of matters relating to high quality planning and highways work, advising on major mixed use and urban regeneration schemes, compulsory purchase, Section 106 and planning related land acquisition work. You will be encouraged to develop relationships with clients, helping to raise the profile of the team locally.

Ideally you are likely to have at least 6 years+ experience as a Planning Lawyer with another recognised commercial firm, although applications are welcomed from Lawyers who are more (or less) experience.
