Job description

Our client is a leading defender practice with a national present that is looking for an Associate to join their growing Healthcare practice. This role will offer you flexibility and work life balance whilst giving you career progression as an integral senior member of the team.

You will have prior experience in clinical negligence claims and have minimum 5 years PQE. You should have experience appearing in the Sheriff court and as instructing agent in the Court of Session.

You will be responsible for your own caseload of negligence claims against healthcare providers representing a wide variety of clinicians including GPs, orthopaedic surgeons, obstetricians, ophthalmologists, maxillofacial surgeons, plastics surgeons, nurses, nursing homes and private hospitals.

The firm are known for their work life balance, they advocate for being 9-5pm, you will only be asked to attend their Glasgow office 1 day per week and they are offering a competitive salary.
