Lead Business Partner
Job description
An exciting opportunity for an experienced insurance relationship manager to lead a Team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering value to the clients, while also managing key relationships with the Insurer Partners.
In this role, you will oversee a team of Business Partners, manage your own portfolio of brokers, and act as a key point of contact between the clients and the business. Working alongside the Commercial Director, you'll provide insights and opportunities to our Insurer Partners to help them meet their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: As a member of the Leadership Team, you will contribute to strategic initiatives, operational issues, and ensure alignment across the business.
- Team Development: Engage, support, and develop colleagues through goal setting, career discussions, feedback, and recognition. Foster an inclusive team culture that emphasises well-being and continuous learning.
- Relationship Management: Lead your team by example, managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as an escalation point for the team.
- Client Insight & Support: Build deep understanding of the clients objectives and help them access the right elements of the businesses offering at appropriate times.
- Placement Solutions: Work closely with the clients across the UK to align placement strategies with Network markets and deliver tailored solutions.
- Insurer Partnership: Collaborate with Insurer Partners to identify and convert opportunities, resolve issues, and provide actionable insights.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve revenue growth and operating income targets for the team, contributing to the overall success of the Networks Division.
Qualifications
- Leadership & Mentoring: Strong leadership qualities with a proven track record in managing and mentoring teams, leading by example, and fostering a supportive environment.
- Influencing Skills: Demonstrated ability to influence across various levels, creating mutually beneficial solutions.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills to handle multiple relationships with the clients and Insurer Partners.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities, with a talent for conveying key messages effectively at all levels.
- Analytical Ability: Skilled in analysing business plans and data to provide actionable recommendations and solutions.
- Integrity & Client Focus: Strong commitment to putting client interests and market integrity at the forefront of all activities.
