Real Estate Associate - Corporate

Job description

A top-tier US law firm is seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Corporate Real Estate Associate to join its thriving New York office. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of corporate and real estate law, advising on complex transactions involving significant real estate assets, joint ventures, and investment structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on the corporate structuring of real estate investments, joint ventures, M&A, and financings involving real estate assets.
  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents including JV agreements, equity investment documents, purchase agreements, and operating agreements.
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams including tax, finance, and fund formation lawyers.
  • Conduct due diligence and manage closing processes for complex, high-value deals.

Candidate Profile:

  • 1-4 years of corporate real estate experience, ideally gained at a leading US or international law firm.
  • Solid understanding of both real estate and corporate/M&A principles.
  • JD from a top law school and admitted to the New York Bar.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, business-focused approach.
